Cultural Coalition of Chatham-Kent

The Diversity and Religious Accomodation Committee consists of two groups in which one stems from Sarnia, and the other from Chatham. Although the groups may come from two seperate cities, they both have the same objectives: to update and improve the Diversity and Religious accommodation policy for the Lambton-Kent District School Board. These groups are striving to see inclusive behaviour throughout the LKDSB. Aside from editing and updating the policy itself, these groups are producing creative ways in which we can ensure the policy is implemented within the school board.

Thank you to all who came to the Lambton-Kent District School Board meetings on diversity and religious accommodation. We would like to invite all those interested in continuing this review process to join us on July 21st in Chatham and/or on July 28th in Sarnia from 9:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. If you can or anyone you know can attend, please reply by the end of day Monday, June 19th, so we have approximate numbers to ensure our venue will accommodate everyone.
